Welcome at the airport on arrival in Saigon and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight in Saigon |

Day 2 : Saigon – Cu Chi – Saigon |
|
Breakfast at hotel. Morning excursion to visit the famous Cu Chi Underground Tunnels which have become well-known worldwide as the symbol of Vietnamese bravery during wartime. Return to the city for half-day city tour in the afternoon visiting the War Remnants Hall and bustling Chinatown with Thien Hau Temple. Photo stops at Notre Dame Cathedral, General Post Office and City Hall. Overnight in Saigon |

Day 3 : Saigon – Mekong Delta – Saigon |
|
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Cai Be district in the Mekong Delta in the morning. Upon arrival, take a boat ride on Mekong River to visit the Cai Be Floating Market where many kinds of seasonal fruits and vegetables are traded on boats. Continue the boat ride into the countryside of Vinh Long town visiting local homes, fruit/bonsai gardens and workshops. Enjoy a short hand-rowed sampan ride on small canals. Pick up in Vinh Long town and transfer by overland back to Saigon via My Thuan Bridge. Overnight in Saigon |

Day 4 : Saigon – Hue |
|
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport for domestic flight to Hue in the morning. Afternoon city tour in Hue beginning with boat ride on Huong River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda. Continue by overland to visit the former Imperial Citadel and the Royal Tomb of Tu Duc King. Overnight in Hue |

Day 5 : Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An |
|
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Da Nang in the morning via Lang Co Beach and Hai Van Pass. Sightseeing tour around Da Nang including visit to the Museum of Cham Sculpture. Proceed to Hoi An and hotel check-in on arrival. Free time afterwards. Overnight in Hoi An |

Day 6 : Hoi An |
|
Breakfast at hotel. Morning walking visits to old houses, pagodas, local market and Chinese community’s assembly halls in Hoi An ancient town. Enjoy bicycle ride in the afternoon to the countryside or to Cua Dai Beach. Overnight in Hoi An. |

Day 7 : Hoi An – Hanoi |
|
Breakfast at hotel. More free time in Hoi An in the morning. Transfer to the airport in Da Nang for domestic flight to Hanoi in the afternoon. Meet upon arrival in Hanoi and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight in Hanoi. |

Day 8: Ha Noi. |
|
Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit to the historic Ba Dinh Square with Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (if open), Ho Chi Minh Stilts House and One-Pillar Pagoda. Continue to visit Temple of Literature and History Museum.Visit Hoan Kiem Lake with Ngoc Son Temple.
One-hour cyclo ride in the Old Quarter of Ha Noi and then enjoy some more walking in the area. Enjoy the evening show of the spectacular Water Puppetry. Overnight in Ha Noi |

Day 9 : Ha Noi - Ha Long |
|
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Ha Long in the morning and hotel check-in on arrival. Six-hour boat cruise on the magnificent Ha Long Bay - a World Natural Heritage Site - to enjoy swimming and exploring limestone grottoes. Overnight in Ha Long |

Day 10 : Ha Long – Ha Noi – Lao Cai |
|
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer back to Ha Noi in the morning with short stop at a ceramic workshop in Dong Trieu. Hotel check-in and free time afterwards for relaxing. Pick up and transfer to Ha Noi Train Station for night train to Lao Cai (scheduled 21:30 – 06:30+). Overnight on train |

Day 11 : Arriving Lao Cai – Sapa |
|
Meet on arrival in Lao Cai and transfer to Sapa (40km away) to the hotel for check-in and Breakfast. Later transfer to the outside of Sapa (around 13km) and enjoy some more walk (around 2km) off the main road to visit Ta Phin village of Zao and H’mong ethnic minority peoples. Afternoon drive to the vicinity of Sapa to Muong Hoa valley where is home to many ethnic minority peoples such as H’mong, Zao, Zay, Tay and Xapho. The landscape is beautiful to enjoy with terraced fields and local homes of ethnic minority peoples scattered on the mountain side. Walk visiting Ta Van village of Zay people. Return to Sapa in the late afternoon. Overnight in Sapa |

Day 12 : Sapa – Bac Ha – Lao Cai – Ha Noi |
|
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Bac Ha district (106km away from Sapa) in the early morning to visit Bac Ha Sunday Market - the biggest and most colourful market of ethnic minority peoples in the mountainous north-west of Vietnam. Afternoon transfer to Lao Cai town for sightseeing tour and short visit to the Ha Khau Border Gate of Vietnam - China on the bank of the Red River which serves here as a natural border line. Afterwards transfer to the train station for night train to Ha Noi. Overnight on train |

Day 13 : Arriving Ha Noi |

Pick-up at the train station in Ha Noi on arrival and transfer to the hotel for Breakfast. Whole day at leisure for relaxing or shopping. Overnight in Ha Noi |
